A new culture of
women, ownership
and capital.
HGIC brings together women building investment judgment, ownership and meaningful relationships with capital through curated experiences, shared learning and exceptional company.
Founded in Edmonton, Alberta. Built for the world.
Capital changes when more women are in the room.
Women do not need another surface-level networking event. They need more opportunities to build judgment, test ideas, meet credible people and participate more naturally in the conversations where ownership and capital are shaped.
HGIC creates the conditions for that participation: culturally distinctive, socially compelling and professionally serious.
Access matters. Judgment matters more.
About · Name origin
HGIC began as Hot Girls Investment Club: a deliberately provocative name for an equally deliberate idea: women should feel as natural around risk, ownership and capital as they do anywhere else.
On the word
Here, "hot" is not an appearance standard. It is agency, intelligence, curiosity, nerve and conviction—the qualities of women willing to enter the room, ask better questions and act like owners.
Origin
The first HGIC gatherings formed around private poker tables, using play, risk and conversation to make investment culture more social, accessible and magnetic.
Today
HGIC is not building a separate investment ecosystem for women. It is building a stronger pipeline of women into the one that already exists—and shaping what that economy can become.
The Model
Gather. Learn. Invest.
Gather
Curated private experiences bring together women investors, emerging capital allocators, founders, operators and selected people who make the room stronger.
Learn
HGIC makes risk, negotiation, diligence and investment judgment social—creating space to ask sharper questions and learn alongside credible people.
Invest
HGIC is developing partner-supported pathways through which qualified members may participate in properly structured investment opportunities.
Future participation will be subject to applicable legal, regulatory, eligibility and partner requirements.

5
private experiences to date
Connecting people across investing, venture capital, finance, entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, research and economic development.
Built through real rooms, real relationships and growing demand.
Private Experiences
Designed for more than attendance.
HGIC experiences are built around participation. Depending on the room, they may combine risk and negotiation formats, founder presentations, investor learning, intimate conversation and unexpected settings.
The room is curated. The thinking is not.
Curated rooms
The guest list is considered deliberately. Access is reviewed rather than automatic.
Active participation
People are invited to think, question, negotiate and contribute—not simply exchange business cards.
Exceptional context
Distinctive settings and formats create the conditions for unusually candid, valuable conversations.
What HGIC is building
From access to ownership.
HGIC is being built as more than an event series. Its longer-term direction connects curated community, investment learning and professionally structured pathways into ownership and capital participation.
Over time, HGIC may explore learning and participation across private companies, acquisitions, private credit, real estate and real assets—working with experienced partners where regulated infrastructure, diligence and administration are required.

Founding Advisory Committee
Building with experienced judgment.
HGIC is assembling a Founding Advisory Committee to help shape the platform's national relevance, partnership strategy, member experience and long-term credibility across community, business and investment.
The committee is advisory and distinct from any future investment or credit decision-making body.
